OMBRE POWDER BROWS
THE MISSING PIECE TO YOUR MORNING ROUTINE
OMBRE POWDER BROWS
What are Ombre Powder Brows? Ombre powder brows are a type of semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. Unlike microblading, which creates individual hair strokes, ombre powder brows involve a shading technique that gives a soft, powdered makeup look to the brows.
How Long Do Ombre Powder Brows Last? Ombre Powder Brows typically last 3-5 years before completely fading away. A touch-up is recommended after 12-24 months.
MICROBLADING V.S OMBRE POWDER BROWS
Ombre Powder Brows: A semi-permanent makeup technique that creates a soft, shaded effect, resembling a filled-in brow. The gradient starts lighter at the front and gradually darkens towards the tail, giving a natural, powdered look. Ideal for all skin types, especially oily skin.
Microblading: A semi-permanent technique using fine, hair-like strokes to mimic natural eyebrow hairs. It provides a more defined, hair-stroke look but is best suited for dry to normal skin. The results are more natural but require more maintenance than ombre powder brows.

Semi - Permanent brows typically last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on various factors before needing a touch up
Skin Type: Oily skin tends to break down pigment faster, potentially shortening the lifespan of the brows.
Aftercare: Proper aftercare significantly affects how long the pigment lasts. Following the technician's instructions for post-care can extend the lifespan of the ombre powder brows.
Sun Exposure: Exposure to sunlight and UV rays can cause the pigment to fade more quickly. Using sunscreen on the treated area can help preserve the pigment.
Body Metabolism: Everyone's body metabolizes pigment differently. Some individuals might retain the pigment longer than others.
Touch-ups or refreshers may be required periodically to maintain the desired color and shape. These touch-ups help in keeping the ombre powder brows looking fresh and vibrant for an extended period.
-
Immediate Post-Procedure: Immediately after the session, the brows may appear darker and more pronounced than the intended final result. Some redness or mild swelling around the treated area is normal.
Initial Scabbing or Crusting: Within a few days, the skin in the treated area may start to scab or crust slightly as it heals.
Color Evolution: Over the next 1-2 weeks, the intensity of the pigment will gradually fade as the skin begins to heal. The color will soften and settle into the desired shade, resembling a powdered makeup look.
Complete Healing: Around 4-6 weeks post-procedure, the healing process is usually complete. The true color of the brows will become more apparent, and a re-touch appointment can be done at this stage.
